Operation Shield Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was established by the employees of Veterans Lending Group (VLG) in 2016.
Born out of a desire to mobilize and impart change within our communities, Operation Shield Foundation is committed to serving, supporting, and educating Military families. Operation Shield Foundation is an outreach program designed to aid in building our communities one project at a time.
Programs Include: TOYS FOR TOTS, DAYS OF GIVING (DOG DAYS) & THE LINK UP
- Operation Shield Foundation plans and implements a variety of projects & fundraisers that impact various groups within our communities–these events are called Days of Giving (D.O.G. Days).
- Some events that we have done in the past include:
- Volunteering at the FISH Food Bank
- Supplemental food drive in partnership with Communities in Schools (Puyallup)
- Painting the exterior of the JBLM Thrift Shop
- Cooking dinner for families at the Fisher House
- Volunteering at the Santa’s Castle Toy Drive
- Packing and delivering cookies for Operation Cookie Drop
- Some events that we have done in the past include:
- Through The Link Up, we are opening a door to a network of resources for our Veteran community and businesses. We are Veterans supporting Veterans, aiding in personal connections, business networking, and community building. At the end of the day we just want to have a cold beer, eat some good food, and connect with other individuals in the Veteran community.
- Toys For Tots–Â We’re proud to support the Toys For Tots Program, Run by the US Marine Corps Reserve
- Collections between Nov 30th & Dec 10th
